Position Summary

The Office Administrator will play an essential role in the non-instructional operations of the school and will actively participate as a member of administration making operational decisions and managing school resources and staffing.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • maintaining all school financial systems including the school operating budget, school generated funds, financial planning and budget and control processes
  • preparing, analyzing and monitoring financial data and statistical reports to inform management decision-making processes
  • providing leadership and supervision to business support and custodial staff
  • coordinating maintenance of facilities in consultation with the Principal and Head Custodian
  • developing, implementing and maintaining office and administrative systems and procedures
  • participating as an active member of the school leadership team and in administrative decision-making processes

Education/Qualifications

  • a diploma in a related field such as accounting or office administration
  • minimum three years related experience including supervisory experience
  • demonstrated expertise with accounting systems
  • knowledge of accounting principles, financial operations, policies and procedures
  • strong analytical skills
  • excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills
  • extensive knowledge of Division regulations and procedures
  • Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, PowerSchool, eBiz, Oracle, QuickBooks, Budget Planning System, Fee Management System, PeopleSoft

$ $67.17 per hour
