Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Therapist to join our healthcare team for children with Autism and Special Needs. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years experience and will work closely with children and their families to develop and implement effective behavioral interventions under direct supervision of lead therapist and BCBA/RBA. This role involves utilizing evidence-based practices to improve client's outcomes. The Behavioral Therapist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, gather data, and support case management efforts to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

  • Follow individualized behavioral treatment plans tailored to each child's needs, incorporating research-based strategies.
  • Conduct therapy sessions with children, utilizing techniques as advised by the ST.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Educate families and caregivers on behavioral strategies to promote positive development at home and in community settings.
  • Stay informed about current research, medical terminology, and best practices in pediatric patient care.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in clinical and educational settings is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 6 per week
