Overview:

Duties:

- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' behaviour and develop personalized treatment plans.

- Implement behaviour intervention strategies based on applied behaviour analysis principles.

- Monitor progress through ongoing data collection and adjust treatment plans as needed.

- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and professionals to ensure consistent implementation of behaviour support strategies.

- Maintain accurate client information

- Stay updated on best practices in behaviour analysis through continuous professional development.

Skills:

Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field (required).

  • Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) certification (preferred).
  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
  • Previous experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities (preferred).
  • Experience with ABA therapy techniques (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help children.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and move around for extended periods.
  • Ability to engage in physical activities with children, including playing on the floor and participating in outdoor activities.
