Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming experience and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing guest inquiries, handling reservations, and maintaining smooth front desk operations. Multilingual and bilingual skills are highly valued to assist a diverse clientele. Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The Guest Service Agent plays a vital role in creating memorable stays for our guests through attentive service and efficient communication.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with tact and efficiency to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software
  • Assist guests with concierge services, including providing local information and amenities
  • Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to deliver seamless guest experiences

Experience

  • Prior experience in front desk or hospitality roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Strong phone etiquette skills with experience managing multi-line phone systems
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, guest services, or hospitality industry standards is a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
