Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team Part- time. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our guests and ensuring their needs are met throughout their stay. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services and maintaining the high standards of our establishment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with information about hotel amenities and services.
  • Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring a smooth experience for all guests.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software.
  • Operate phone systems to respond to calls, take messages, and relay information as needed.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
  • Provide local area information, recommendations, and assistance with transportation arrangements.
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures while ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and phone systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. (Shifts including 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am)
