Position Overview

As the Shop Manager, you will oversee daily operations of our valve and wellhead maintenance and remanufacturing shop. You will be responsible for managing personnel, ensuring quality control, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with clients and field teams to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise shop staff, including technicians and support personnel
  • Schedule and prioritize maintenance and remanufacturing jobs in shop and field
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures
  • Collaborate with field service teams and clients to meet project timelines
  • Train and mentor new employees
  • Prepare reports and track shop performance metrics

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in valve and wellhead maintenance or related oilfield services
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a shop environment
  • Strong understanding of remanufacturing processes and safety standards
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency with shop management software and reporting tools
  • Valid driver's license: safety certifications are an asset
