Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our Mechanic Shop. The ideal candidate will lead a team of professionals, ensure project adherence to safety standards, and maintain quality control across multiple sites. This role requires strong management capabilities, extensive Heavy Duty Mechanical experience, and proficiency with Shop management software. The Shop Supervisor will coordinate project activities, supervise personnel, and ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within scope.

Duties

  • Supervise and manage Mechanics, ensuring work is performed according to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with Shop managers on budgeting, resource allocation, and contract compliance.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
  • Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct safety meetings regularly to promote a safe work environment.
  • Manage Technicians, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to project progress, change orders, and site reports.
  • Train and mentor team members in Shop management practices.
