We are seeking a friendly and organized Shop Hand to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations within our tank truck shop, maintaining an efficient workspace. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to support our shop's success.

Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and restock parts and shop consumables.
  • Follow instruction/direction given by shop manager.
  • Strictly adhere to safety protocols, maintaining a clean and safe shop environment at all times.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Friendly, approachable demeanor with a professional attitude
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Standard First Aid with Level C, CPR / AED
  • H2S Alive
  • Class 5 drivers license with reasonable abstract.
  • We do not require candidates to be registered apprentices however, an opportunity to complete an apprenticeship program, is available for a suitable candidate.
