Maintenance Inventory Coordinator

Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada Vitalus Nutrition Inc Full time

Own the parts that keep our plant moving.

You know that great maintenance starts with the right parts, at the right time. As our Maintenance Inventory Coordinator, you'll build a reliable, audit‑ready inventory program that keeps technicians equipped, supports preventive maintenance, and cuts downtime. If you love turning data, discipline, and teamwork into smooth production, this role lets you make a visible impact every day.

IS THIS YOU?

  • You excel at CMMS/ERP inventory control and keep your cool when things get busy — because precise parts data is what keeps production moving.

  • You bring 5S rigor + a continuous‑improvement mindset — so storage is safe, traceable, and fast to access.

  • You communicate clearly + take ownership — ready to be the go‑to partner for maintenance, procurement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Own the Numbers

  • Maintain precise stock records, cycle counts, and reconciliations in CMMS/ERP.
  • Spot trends, slow movers, and critical items; set smart min/max levels to prevent stockouts.

Fix It Fast

  • Receive, label, and stage parts for quick access; issue accurately to technicians.
  • Use real‑time transactions to keep on‑hand counts trustworthy and work orders moving.

Protect the Brand

  • Store materials to WHMIS and environmental standards; track warranties and vendor data.
  • Support HACCP/SQF/GMP compliance with traceable documentation and audit‑ready reports.

Drive Smarter Decisions

  • Partner with Procurement on lead times and quality; flag risks early.

  • Support preventive maintenance by maintaining accurate BOMs (Bill of Materials) and clean master data — and bring fresh ideas to Lean, 5S, and TPM initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 2+ years in inventory control or maintenance support in manufacturing/food processing.
  • Confidence with CMMS/ERP (SAP, Maximo, Fiix) and barcode/RFID tools.
  • Strong Excel/Word skills; detail‑driven recordkeeping.
  • Clear communicator with accountability and adaptability.
  • Bonus: Post‑secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Maintenance Management.
