Job type: Flexible, Full -time, Part -time MDSearch is seeking a OB/GYN with diagnostic imaging skills to join a physician -owned and operated community -based Diagnostic Imaging clinic in Edmonton. The clinic specializes in performing obstetrical ultrasound in a trauma -informed way, with a focus on women's health and openness to expanding their services in this area. In this role, the candidate will review and report on ultrasound images, consult with patients, and collaborate with OBGYNs, Maternal -Fetal Medicine subspecialists, and MFM -trained sonographers and nursing staff. The position is dedicated to improving access to quality imaging for women, advancing women's health standards, and adhering to the clinic's trauma -informed approach to obstetrical ultrasound. Additionally, the clinic prefers OBGYN with additional interest and skills for female pelvis Imaging, for example chronic pain mapping and injections, endometriosis non invasive imaging, adnexal masses, uterine anomalies, polyps, etc. Pregnancy dating, ectopics, routine complete obstetrical scans. RequirementsHave a desire to help grow this area of women's health in the community.Be in good standing (or eligible) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.FRCSC or FRCPC or eligible. It is the only clinic in Edmonton and the surrounding areas that offers advanced ultrasound services by a Maternal and Fetal Medicine specialist. The clinic specializes in women's health, perinatal health, dedicated pregnancy ultrasounds, maternal assessments, and comprehensive screening protocols aimed at improving the health of women and babies.
