Zia Women's Health is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Office Assistant / Receptionist to join our clinic. This is a hybrid role supporting physicians directly as well as helping during peak times at reception. You will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operations of our clinic, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and customer service.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide daily logístical support to our group of OBGYN and family doctors.
- Work as a team to address bookings, phone calls, faxes, referrals, rooming, chart prep, vitals etc.
- Address customer concerns and complaints, working to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Unfailing positivity, customer service attitude, and polished image as an ambassador of our high-profile women’s health brand.
- Work in a team setting sharing all responsibilities and actively supporting the common good.
- Support holistic woman’s health care working in tandem with, and supportive of, our integrated services including specialists, GP’s, pharmacists, cosmetic clinic, spa, and IUD clinic.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in healthcare is essential, specifically in woman’s health is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with a tight-knit team.
- Positivity, customer service focus, willingness to learn, and a professional image.
- A passion for woman’s health
**Preferred Skills**:
- Familiarity with electronic medical record software such as Connect Care and Accuro.
- Instrument reprocessing.
- Proficient in general clinic administrative duties.
- Clear verbal and written English communication.
**Experience**:
- Medical Office Assistant or similar role: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
**Schedule**:
- Monday to Friday
**Location**:
- Edmonton, AB T6H 4A6 (In-person work required)
*** **Expected hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.**
