Job type: Flexible, Full -time, Part -time MDSearch is looking for a Radiologist with a focus in women's health to join a physician -owned and operated community -based Diagnostic Imaging clinic in Edmonton. The clinic specializes in performing obstetrical ultrasound in a trauma -informed way, with a focus on women's health and openness to expanding their services in this area. The successful candidate must be passionate about improving the standards of care for women and helping to change the way that imaging is provided to women in our communities. This is a community practice accredited as a Diagnostic Imaging facility with the CPSA (billed fee for service with Alberta Health). The successful candidate will work alongside OBGYNs/Maternal -Fetal Medicine subspecialists and MFM trained sonographers and nursing staff. The Women's Health Imaging Specialist will be responsible for reviewing ultrasound images, reporting the findings, and consulting with patients as indicated within scope of practice. Additional tasks are needed as per the CPSA standards of practice. This position is more than for women's health imaging. As a new clinic looking to expand and building new spaces, the clinic is searching partnership with radiologist to increase the scope of services offered. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and will be participating in developing new services under their brand. RequirementsHave a desire to help grow this area of women's health in the community.Be in good standing (or eligible) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.FRCSC or FRCPC or eligible.
