HR Advisor
(Disability Management/Accommodations)

Our public sector client is seeking a dedicated HR Advisor for a temporary assignment. This hands-on advisory role will support both managers and employees in navigating complex accommodation matters, including disability-related requests, while ensuring full compliance within a unionized environment. In this role, you will conduct investigations, provide guidance on HR policies and best practices, and advise on conflict resolution strategies. You will also coach managers on employee relations matters, support union-related processes, and help foster a positive and compliant workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in disability management and accommodations.
  • Previous experience in a unionized environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employee rights.
  • A degree or certification in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
