Position Summary:

As a
Human Resources Advisor
, you will play a key role in supporting our leadership teams and employees across Canada in multiple retirement residences. You will provide strategic and operational HR guidance in areas such as employee relations, labor relations, talent management, performance development, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Executive Directors, Regional Directors and VP's, Senior Management and Head Office on HR-related matters.
  • Lead and support complex employee relations cases, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary action.
  • Interpret and apply employment legislation, company policies, and best practices to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Coach leaders on performance management strategies and employee development.
  • Lead HR policy development, review and changes, program enhancements, and change management initiatives.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support high-quality recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Support a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with All Seniors Care's mission and values.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in healthcare, senior living,
  • Experience in unionized environments
  • Strong knowledge of provincial employment legislation.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of an organization.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
