Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site/off-site role for a Business Development Specialist based in Kitchener, ON. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, executing sales strategies to drive revenue, and expanding market share. The role involves:
- Build a strong candidate pipeline.
- Run discovery calls, presentations, territory checks, and candidate follow-ups.
- Attend trade shows and business events to generate new leads.
- Maintain CRM accuracy and move candidates through the process with speed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, client acquisition, and sales strategies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and create actionable business development plans
- Project management and problem-solving skills to identify and address market opportunities
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently on-site/off-site
- Knowledge of the vaping industry or experience in a retail environment is an asset
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial
