Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive and organized accounting assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a reliable and detail-oriented professional with a knack for multitasking and problem-solving. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers.
  • Verify and process vendor invoices.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding payment.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and order new materials as needed.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, and handle email correspondence.
  • Maintain and update office records, including files and databases.
  • Prepare and process various documents and reports.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Proven experience as an office assistant, or similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), QuickBooks.
  • Experience with office management software and equipment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Job Type: Full-time
