Business Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who can help the company grow over the next several years. This individual should already have contacts in the industry and be familiar with the process behind acquiring janitorial cleaning contracts for commercial properties.
The position offers a very large territory in the lower mainland, and there is great potential to earn high commissions and bonuses on top of a monthly salary.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Prospect for new business while maintaining relationships with current clients
Secure new janitorial contracts on a consistent basis
Attend networking and industry events to grow client base
Document interactions with clients in the company CRM system to keep an up-to-date log
Fill out RFPs and assess quotation pricing
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
A minimum of three years in sales (in the janitorial industry)
Possess valid BC driver's license and reliable vehicle
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Possess superior communication skills, both written and verbal with a successful track record in working with clients/staff at all levels
Have a proven track record of sales excellence
Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance
Have an extensive network of contacts in the property management and janitorial industries
Demonstrate excellent organization and time management skills and possess the ability to work in a high volume, face paced environment
Be able to multi-task, prioritize to meet precise deadlines and be able to adapt quickly to change
Have the autonomy to work independently and a part of a team with minimal supervision
Possess excellent computer skills in Google, MS Office (Word/Excel), email and internet
Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Adopt a positive and enthusiastic, hands on approach with a strong bias to client service
As required, be able to work outside regular business hours
