Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional support to seniors in their homes. This role is crucial in helping our clients maintain their dignity, comfort, and safety as they age. The position is based in Canada and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
  • Help with mobility and physical exercises to promote independence.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with family members regarding client progress and needs.
  • Document care provided and any changes in client condition accurately.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications * Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role in senior care.

  • Strong knowledge of assisted living practices and patient care techniques.
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with dementia care practices is an asset.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between client homes may be required.
