About Us

Ambassador Animal Hospital is a compassionate, fast-paced veterinary practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to pets and outstanding service to their owners. We're looking for a friendly, reliable Veterinary Receptionist to join our team and be the welcoming face of our clinic.

Position Summary

The Veterinary Receptionist plays a crucial role in supporting both our clients and our medical staff. You'll manage front-desk operations, provide excellent customer service, and help keep our workflow organized and efficient.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and pets with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage reminders
  • Check clients in/out and process payments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update client information
  • Communicate clearly with veterinarians and technicians
  • Handle prescription refills and relay messages
  • Keep the front desk tidy and organized
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous veterinary or medical reception experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment
  • Proficient with computers; experience with veterinary software a plus
  • Compassionate, patient, and calm under pressure
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 28 per week
