Central Vaughan Animal Hospital is seeking a motivated animal-loving individual to join our team, who is passionate about helping animals and their owners. You will be responsible for helping clients by creating a welcoming environment, providing service information, answering telephone calls and returning e-mails, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer inquiries and schedule appointments
  • Provide information about the products and services
  • Handling payment transactions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
  • Document and update client interactions in Medical Records
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
  • Assist Veterinarian with animal restraint and Medical Record updates during appointments (if needed)
  • Following up with the clients regarding the patient's status after treatment provided
  • Medical Record keeping and tracking

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a veterinary office, customer service, sales, or other related fields
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are an asset
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to changes
  • Willingness to expand knowledge and improve

Experience:

  • Veterinary Receptionist 1 year (preferred)
  • Receptionist 2 year (preferred)
  • Customer Service (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
