Job Overview

We are looking for an exceptional Veterinary Receptionist to join our fast-paced, high-volume clinic. We are a 4.5- doctor practice with a heavy surgical and appointment load - and while we are busy, we never lose sight of what matters most: Outstanding Client care and a genuinely supportive, upbeat team culture. This role is perfect for someone who loves people and pets and takes pride in being the calm and friendly face of a bustling clinic.

Duties

  • Delivering exceptional client service - warm, professional and empathetic
  • Managing a busy phone and appointment schedule with confidence and accuracy
  • Supporting surgical booking and appointment flow
  • Handling payments, records and clients communication with attention to detail
  • Inventory management
  • Being a key part of the clinic's positive energy and teamwork

Experience

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, Veterinary experience is a big plus
  • Ability to manage busy phone lines, scheduling appointments and multitasking in a fast paced environment
  • Comfortable handling payments, invoicing and basic administrative tasks
  • Ability to remain calm, organized and solution focused during high pressure or emotional situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work collaborative within a team and contribute to positive workplace morale

This role is essential for maintaining smooth clinic operations while providing compassionate service to clients and their pets. We value candidates who are proactive, reliable, and eager to contribute positively to our team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
