About the Role

We're seeking a driven, people-focused
Business Development Representative (BDR)
to join our Toronto team. As the director of first impressions for CannDelta, you'll be responsible for making contact, building relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping entrepreneurs navigate the fast-growing cannabis industry across North America.

This full-time, in-office role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people, and can turn conversations into lasting partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor for regulatory and business growth solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through creative outbound strategies, including calls and emails.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure exceptional client experiences and successful project outcomes.
  • Represent CannDelta at industry events, conferences, and tradeshows across Canada and the U.S.
  • Manage client data and pipelines in Salesforce.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets while contributing to CannDelta's overall growth strategy.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or Marketing.
  • At least two years of experience in a quota-carrying sales or business development role.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales goals; highly motivated and growth-oriented.
  • Experience in digital marketing or marketing services sales is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with professional or consulting services preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver's license and passport (NEXUS or Global Entry is an asset).
  • Passion for helping entrepreneurs and startups succeed.

Compensation

  • Base Salary:
    $45,000 per year
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE):
    Approximately $90,000 annually (uncapped)
  • Commissions:
    Paid monthly with quarterly true-up
  • Performance Bonuses
