Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for an Administrative Assistant based in Calgary, AB. The Administrative Assistant will handle a variety of tasks, including managing phone inquiries, providing administrative support to executives, and performing general clerical tasks. Additional responsibilities include maintaining organized records, streamlining office operations, and assisting in the coordination of daily business activities. The administrative assistant must also have sales experience and must be skilled in making cold-calls and promoting business to Rockies Building Supplies.
Qualifications
1-3+ years experience in a
- dministrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance
- Strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills
- Experience with Clerical Skills, including document organization and record-keeping
- Experience in sales & cold-calling clientele
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel) is an asset
- Previous experience in the construction or building supplies industry is beneficial
- Bachelors degree required. Additional certifications in administration are a plus
