Summary
- We are seeking two dedicated Medical Office Administrators to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area
- In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth and efficient daily operation of our Medical Centre ensuring a high level of customer service,and contributing significantly to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services.
Career Scope:
- Selected candidates will undergo a paid training ($20 per hour) for a period of maximum 3 months.
- Selected candidates will be part of Management team.
- Out of selected candidates, any potential candidate can become Medical Office Manager (NOC after necessary training.
Educational Requirement:
- Health, Management, or Business related Degree or Diploma
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction & Scheduling:
Welcoming patients, managing appointment bookings for both patients and physicians, and ensuring efficient patient flow.
- Recordkeeping:
Organizing, maintaining, and archiving patient medical records, test results, and other vital documentation in compliance with privacy standards.
- Billing and Insurance:
Processing insurance claims, coordinate with insurance companies, managing patient payments, and ensuring accurate and timely billing.
- Accounting Management:
Handling office finances through In-house Quick Book online management, paying bills, tracking expenses, and coordinate with 3rd party payroll company.
- Staff Management:
Help in training new staff, and evaluating administrative staff to ensure a cohesive and competent team.
- Office Operations:
Managing office supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
- Communication:
Serving as the foundation of communication , responding to inquiries from patients and other healthcare providers, and relaying important information to our team.
- Coordination:
Collaborating with healthcare professionals and facilities to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Technology Use:
Operating and managing various computer software, and learn to work with digitalization or automation
- Digital Marketing:
Updating the Google Page, Social media posts & editing the webpage (Knows or willing to learn).
- Regulatory Compliance:
Ensuring that the office operations, recordkeeping & patient privacy in compliance with PHIPA (Personal Health Information Protection Act).
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.
- A patient-centered approach with strong customer service skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills - Proficiency with computers and willing to learn necessary digital software or AI tools.
- Have Knowledge of Medical Terminology or willing to learn.
- Commitment to Patient Privacyand strict confidentiality standards.
Salary & Scope:
- $21-$25 depending on the efficiency, after a paid training for 3 months
- Potential candidate can become Medical Office Manager (NOC after necessary training and experience.
