About this role:

We are looking for a highly experienced, independent, and motivated B2B Sales Manager who can manage the entire sales cycle—from identifying and prospecting distributors to negotiating and closing deals with key customers and major distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a B2B sales strategy for the Canadian market.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities with major grocery chains, F&B companies, and distributors.
  • Travel to customer sites and conduct meetings.
  • Negotiate and close deals with large companies, including distributors and packaging suppliers.
  • Independently manage the entire sales cycle (from lead generation to contract execution).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
  • Provide detailed reports to senior management on sales performance, opportunities, and market trends.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to determine strategic product positioning and identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events and meetings.
  • Provide market feedback to inform sales strategy and product development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7–10 years of B2B sales experience in FMCG, food, or packaging industries in Canada.
  • 2–3 years of experience in sales management or product leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • MBA or relevant professional certifications in sales, negotiation, or business development are a plus.
  • Proven track record of closing deals with large national or international companies.
  • Extensive professional network in the food, retail, or HORECA sectors is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and pipeline management.
  • Strong negotiation skills at senior decision-making levels.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to showcase product value.
  • Ability to work completely independently and manage all aspects of sales.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written); French is not required but considered an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
