Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in providing exceptional coffee and customer service in a vibrant QSR environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that every customer has an enjoyable experience. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer interaction will play a vital role in our café's success.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate the POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.
  • Uphold food safety standards in all aspects of food handling and preparation.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.

Experience

  • Previous barista experience is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train motivated individuals with a passion for coffee.
  • Experience in the food industry or retail environment is beneficial.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling procedures is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
