Barista/Cashier
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, (730-2pm). *Occasional evenings during an event*
**Duties**:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and process payments using cash handling procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and
making recommendations
- Serve hot food off a line type setting during busy periods
- Prepare food items such as pastries and sandwiches
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and espresso machines
- Assist with catering set up and take down after events
**Experience**:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling transactions
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: Up to $18.00 per hour
