Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, demonstrating excellent customer service skills while efficiently managing their time in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest has a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, preferably Toast
  • Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and sanitation standards are met.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation practices throughout the service process.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.

Experience

  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a server role within the food industry.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest services and hospitality.
  • Time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
  • Experience with POS systems, specifically Toast, is advantageous but not required as training will be provided.
