  • Pay Rate: $22–$24 per hour
  • Overtime paid

What You'll Do:

  • Manually-shovel and clear snow from sidewalks, walkways, steps and ramps at commercial & residential properties
  • Opportunity to run mechanized equipment such as walk-behind snow blowers and/or stand-on/sit-in sidewalk machines
  • Hand-spread Salt/Ice Melt as required
  • Be part of an on-call team that keeps the community moving
  • Work independently while staying connected with our crew
  • Accurately-complete manual and/or digital log sheets
  • Other duties as may be assigned

What We're Looking For:

  • Reliable, punctual, and ready to work flexible hours—nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays, as weather dictates
  • Comfortable working in winter conditions
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Strong work ethic and a 'get it done' attitude
  • Legally-entitled to work for payment in the Province of Ontario
  • Ability to get oneself to and from our Shop location (in Ramara Township) (public transit not available)
  • Commitment to working the remainder of the Winter Season, up to and including April 30
  • Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence with clean Abstract will be considered an asset, but is not required
