Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong expertise in banking processes, process flow documentation, and agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, automated, and delivered efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements within the banking domain.
  • Create detailed
    process flows, business workflows, swim lanes, and use case diagrams
    .
  • Translate business requirements into
    functional and non-functional specifications
    for development teams.
  • Configure and manage
    JIRA workflows, automation rules, dashboards, and reports
    .
  • Maintain and structure project documentation, requirements, and knowledge bases in
    Confluence
    .
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, QA, and stakeholders in an
    Agile/Scrum
    environment.
  • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, user story creation, and acceptance criteria definition.
  • Perform impact analysis for changes and enhancements across systems and processes.
  • Support UAT planning, execution, and defect triage.
  • Ensure solutions comply with banking regulations, security, and audit standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience as a
    Business Systems Analyst
    in the
    banking or financial services domain
    .
  • Strong experience creating
    process flows, BPMN diagrams, and functional documentation
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    JIRA administration and automation
    (workflows, transitions, rules).
  • Extensive experience using
    Confluence
    for documentation and collaboration.
  • Solid understanding of
    banking products and processes
    (payments, lending, deposits, risk, compliance, etc.).
  • Experience working in
    Agile/Scrum
    delivery models.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with
    JIRA Query Language (JQL)
    .
  • Exposure to
    DevOps, CI/CD, or test management tools
    .
  • Knowledge of
    data analysis, reporting, or SQL
    .
  • Experience supporting regulatory or compliance-driven initiatives.
