Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receptionist/Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout their vehicle maintenance and repair experience. You will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring that all service requests are handled efficiently and effectively.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their automotive service needs.
  • Schedule appointments for vehicle maintenance and repairs using our management software ( Shop monkey )
  • Communicate clearly with customers about services needed, pricing, and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and follow-up actions.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls and inquiries.
  • Perform data entry tasks to update customer files and service records.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems for easy access to customer information.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including typing documents and proofreading communications.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for invoicing and bookkeeping tasks related to service transactions.
  • Ensure a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment for customers.

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing excellent support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other computer applications.
  • Experience with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and administrative tasks.
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and effective phone etiquette.
  • Previous experience in an automotive service environment iis required
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
