Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, responsible for managing service appointments and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. Your exceptional customer service skills and organizational abilities will be essential in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction while efficiently handling administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assess their automotive service needs.
  • Schedule service appointments and manage the service calendar effectively.
  • Provide accurate information regarding services, repairs, and maintenance options.
  • Communicate with technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure timely service delivery.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and transactions using computer systems.
  • Handle data entry tasks, including filing and organizing documents.
  • Experience in use of CRM software ( shop Monkey and Mitchell)
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries and provide customer support.
  • Proofread documents for accuracy before finalizing any reports or communications.
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks as needed, ensuring all financial records are up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive industry
  • Strong clerical experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
