Denko Mechanical Ltd. is a trusted name in the plumbing industry with over 35 years of service excellence. We are currently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper who can also provide support to our office staff. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Sage accounting software and enjoy contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate financial records using Sage
    • Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
    • Prepare payroll, Record of Employments and T4 Slips
    • Prepare and file GST, PST, and Source Deductions
    • Prepare monthly and year-end reporting
    • Provide administrative support to office staff, including organizing files, answering phones, scheduling, invoicing and data entry
    • Liaise with vendors, clients, and external accountants as needed

Requirements:

    • Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably in the trades or construction industry
    • Proficiency in Sage 50
    • Solid understanding of Canadian accounting principles and payroll processing
    • Strong multitasking and communication skills
    • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage competing priorities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and/or the equivalent Apple Products
