Sportlogiq is looking for an experienced Program Manager to work with our Engineering, Product and Innovation teams and drive cross-team collaboration. As Program Manager, you'll work at the intersection of strategy and execution; coordinating roadmaps, managing dependencies, optimizing resources and keeping stakeholders aligned.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the full lifecycle of projects and coordinate technical delivery across teams, from initiation to closure; owning timelines, deliverables and dependencies.
  • Partner with Product Managers to ensure that requirements and stories are translated into actionable engineering tasks and work estimates are turned into accurate timelines.
  • Coordinate with Engineering Leads to ensure development efforts are aligned, dependencies are tracked, and teams are coordinated for timely delivery.
  • Ensure Engineering teams have clarity on priorities, milestones and deliverables; facilitating sprint/release planning.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, delivery risks, or scope misalignments. Implement new processes or tools to reduce friction.
  • Own cross-team dependency planning between AI, Engineering, and Product (models, datasets, labelling, pipelines, infrastructure, backend, frontend)
  • Ensure that all documentation related to requirements, decisions, and changes is accurate and up-to-date, ensuring clarity and transparency.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience)
  • 4–6+ years in Program Management or senior Project Management experience within software technology organizations. Software Domain expertise is a must.
  • Technical Fluency: Comfortable working closely with engineering teams; ability to understand technical dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs.
  • Agile Expertise: Strong understanding of Agile and scaled Agile frameworks; experience with sprint planning, release cycles, and retrospectives.
  • Risk & Resource Management: Skilled at identifying risks and optimizing the use of resources across initiatives.
  • Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; proven ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with executives, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to identify issues and implement creative and strategic solutions to overcome problems
  • Certifications (a plus): PMP, PgMP, CSM, SAFe, or other relevant project/program management certifications.

Les gestionnaires du programme travaillent à la fois en amont (la stratégie) et en aval (la réalisation des projets). Ces personnes devront s'occuper des feuilles de route, gérer les dépendances, optimiser les ressources et assurer la satisfaction des différentes parties prenantes.

Les tâches :

  • Mener les projets à terme (de leur genèse à leur réalisation), gérer les échéances, les calendriers, les dépendances et viser l'atteinte des résultats attendus;
  • Travailler de concert avec les gestionnaires de produits afin de transformer les narratifs et les exigences en séries de travaux techniques:
  • établir des échéanciers précis à partir d'estimations;
  • Travailler avec les chefs d'équipes techniques pour assurer le respect des échéances lors de la livraison des produits, assurer le suivi des
  • dépendances, faire en sorte que les équipes soient coordonnées et que le développement des produits reste sur la bonne voie;
  • Travailler avec les équipes de spécialistes informatiques afin d'assurer le respect de l'ordre des priorités, la livraison des produits et les
  • points de repère; faciliter la planification des mises en circulation et des sprints;
  • Gérer les goulots d'étranglement, les risques liés à la livraison, mettre de l'avant des stratégies de résolution des problèmes;
  • Gérer les communications entre les équipes de soutien et d'informatique, responsables de l'intelligence artificielle, de la gestion des aspects
  • entourant les produits (la modélisation, les ensembles de données, la nomenclature, les exécutions en cascade, les infrastructures, les
  • logiciels frontaux et dorsaux)
  • Maintenir la clarté et la transparence en assurant la mise à jour et l'exactitude des documents relatifs aux demandes, aux prises de
  • décisions, aux changements.

Les exigences :

  • Un baccalauréat en informatique (ou en génie informatique ou dans un domaine connexe) ou de l'expérience de travail pertinente;
  • Une expérience conséquente (de 4 à 6 ans) en gestion de programmes techniques; de l'expérience avec les organisations qui se spécialisent en logiciels. L'expertise en domaines de logiciels est essentielle.
  • Une grande aisance avec les aspects techniques de l'entreprise : la personne doit être à l'aise avec les spécialistes en génie logiciel. Elle devra être en mesure de comprendre les dépendances techniques, les risques et les compromis.
  • De l'expertise dans les domaines suivants : la gestion agile, les rétrospectives; les cycles de vie d'un logiciel; scaled Agile frameworks;
  • De l'expérience en gestion du risque et en optimisation de la gestion des ressources;
  • Des habiletés en communication écrite et orale : la capacité de communiquer et de négocier avec des cadres supérieurs, des informaticiens et des parties prenantes qui ne sont pas dans le domaine de la technologie;
  • La capacité d'identifier les problèmes; la capacité de les régler de manière créative;
  • Certifications A+ : PMP, PgMP, SAFe et tout autre programme de certification en gestions de programmes.
  • L'utilisation de l'anglais professionnel est requise pour communiquer avec les employés à l'extérieur du Québec.
