Job Description

BSA with the standard capabilities around functional requirements gathering, great communication skills, experience with IT SDLC, Agile, data analysis (aka using SQL, profiling data). QA with the testing experience on user UI's, Web applications, and database testing (SQL experience); Building test execution plans, great communication skills, automation experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for new and existing systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to ensure a shared understanding of business needs and technical solutions.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, testing, and implementation.
  • Work within Agile/Scrum teams to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and support sprint planning and reviews.
  • Conduct data analysis and data profiling using SQL to validate data requirements and identify gaps.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and help ensure business requirements are met.
  • Develop process flow diagrams, business cases, and system documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or BSA within an IT or software environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with BI/reporting tools and data visualization platforms.
  • Exposure to API or integration projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
