We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst with strong SQL expertise and in-depth experience in Capital Markets to lead business and technical analysis across complex initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and data specialists to deliver high-impact solutions in a dynamic financial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis for Capital Markets projects, from requirements gathering to solution delivery.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and reporting across large datasets.
  • Partner with trading, risk, operations, and technology teams to translate business needs into actionable system requirements.
  • Conduct data mapping, workflow analysis, and gap assessments to support application enhancements and integrations.
  • Support system testing, UAT, and production validation to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis and market trends.

  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis practices.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in Capital Markets or Investment Banking.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (joins, stored procedures, performance tuning, data modeling).
  • Strong understanding of trading products (equities, fixed income, derivatives), trade lifecycle, and regulatory reporting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects in Agile or hybrid environments.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
