Lead. Support. Empower.

Are you passionate about creating real, lasting change in the lives of youth? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where every decision can have a meaningful impact? Do you believe leadership is about building people up, not breaking them down?

If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.

Street Culture Project is hiring a Staffing Manager to lead our frontline transitional housing teams and ensure youth living in our Peer Homes and Shelter receive the care, structure, and connection they deserve.

What You'll Do

You'll be at the heart of our Transitional Housing program—supporting and developing Youth Care Workers, coordinating complex schedules, responding to crisis situations, and making sure every shift runs smoothly and reflects our core values.

You'll:

  • Coach, train, and evaluate staff using trauma-informed and youth-centred approaches
  • Coordinate daily scheduling and coverage across multiple transitional housing locations
  • Respond to staffing issues in real-time and ensure team cohesion and consistency
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a unified care strategy
  • Uphold agency standards, maintain accurate records, and lead with empathy and accountability

What You Bring

This isn't your average desk job. It's hands-on, emotionally charged, and deeply human.

We're looking for someone with:

  • 2+ years of direct youth care experience (required)
  • Experience in staff supervision or team leadership (strongly preferred)
  • A deep commitment to equity, harm reduction, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
  • A drive to build others up, improve systems, and hold space for complexity

Additional Requirements

  • Valid SK Driver's License with abstract
  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector clearance
  • Strong time management and documentation skills
  • Comfortable using HR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Training in CPR/First Aid, ASIST, Crisis Intervention, or Mental Health First Aid is an asset

Why Work With Us?

At Street Culture Project, we meet youth where they're at and build relationships rooted in trust, accountability, and care. You'll be part of a community that believes change is possible and works for it every day. SCP is committed to reflecting the diversity of the youth we serve and supporting inclusivity in the workplace.
