Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Dental Receptionist and Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients, and facilitating smooth communication between patients and dental staff.

Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the office and assist them with check-in procedures.
  • Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
  • Handle incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, addressing inquiries and directing calls appropriately.
  • Maintain patient records using electronic medical records systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Process insurance claims using dental software and collect payment
  • Sterilize instruments and disinfect working areas
  • Prepare examination rooms for dentists
  • Assist dentist in clinical procedures

Skills

  • Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a medical office environment is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 – 40 per week
