JOB DUTIES:

  • Repair Work- on heavy trucks, truck-mounted equipment, hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension components.
  • Diagnose procedures for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems under supervision.
  • Preventive maintenance tasks, such as fluid checks, lubrication, and filter replacement.
  • Document work performed and report findings
  • Follow all safety protocols and participate in training sessions to develop safe and efficient work habits.
  • Perform other mechanical tasks as assigned to gain experience across all areas of heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong desire to learn, and contribute.
  • Get-it-done right attitude.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to receive, understand, and communicate specific instructions
