Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, taking orders, and assisting guests with menu selections. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere will enhance our guests' enjoyment and encourage repeat visits.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders to tables while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Process payments efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation.
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines and health regulations at all times.

Skills

  • Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Experience in upselling techniques to maximize guest satisfaction and sales opportunities.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, including cashiering and food preparation processes.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts in the food industry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in kitchen settings is a plus but not required.
