Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patrons have a memorable experience by delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
  • Take accurate orders from guests using the POS system.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the experience and increase sales.
  • Serve beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Handle cashiering duties, including processing payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Assist with food preparation when necessary to support kitchen staff during busy periods.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant/bar environment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure food safety standards are met.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • A willingness to learn about menu items and enhance upselling techniques for improved customer experiences.
