Position Title: INVENTORY RECEIVING/ACCOUNTING CLERK

Job Type: FULL-TIME, PERMANENT

Location: BURNABY

Compensation: $23 - $26 per hour based on experience

As we continue to expand, we are creating new opportunities for our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Receiving/Accounting Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate inventory levels, efficient communication with other departments and suppliers, and timely processing of receiving documentation.

JOB DUTIES

  • Accurately match shipment packing slips, supplier invoices, purchase orders and system postings
  • Prioritizing incoming shipments and receiving checks based on vendor terms and urgency
  • Verify and reconcile processed work by reviewing data entries and confirming accuracy
  • Communicate any stock shortages, overages, or damages to suppliers and purchasing department.
  • Review open purchase orders weekly and follow up on outstanding or delayed shipments.
  • Ensure all purchase orders are received and posted promptly to prevent payment delays.
  • Forward completed packages and documents to the Accounts Payable for timely processing
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Perform any ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years of office or administrative experience
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred
  • High level of accuracy, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent data entry skills with strong numerical accuracy
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage figures
  • Strong command of English, both oral and written
  • Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn new processes, systems, and product knowledge

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
