About the Role

K2 Corrosion Fasteners is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting/Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, employee expenses, and credit card transactions with accuracy and efficiency. You will play an essential part in maintaining smooth financial operations by ensuring timely and accurate payments in alignment with company policies and vendor terms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter vendor invoices into the ERP system with accuracy, ensuring all details (invoice numbers, vendor data, dates, taxes, etc.) are verified.
  • Process employee expense reports and ensure supporting documentation is properly collected and filed.
  • Record employee credit card transactions and ensure all receipts are saved to the appropriate network location.
  • Prepare and execute bi-monthly payment runs, ensuring vendors and employees are paid on time.
  • ·Maintain and update vendor profiles in the ERP system, including onboarding new vendors and updating existing records.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports related to payables and expenses as required.
  • Process intercompany sales transactions through the AP and AR modules and ensure they are cleared monthly.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (intermediate level preferred).
  • Experience with ERP systems or the ability to learn them quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What Success Looks Like

  • Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) is consistently maintained within vendor terms.
  • All AP transactions are entered accurately and daily in the ERP system.
  • Bi-monthly payments are completed on time and aligned with internal policies.
