Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.

- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including handling reservations and payments.

- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about hotel services, room availability, and local attractions.

- Maintain accurate records of guest information and special requests using hotel management software.

- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.

- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.

- Provide concierge services by recommending local restaurants, attractions, and activities to enhance guest experiences.

- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of guest information.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred.

- Proficiency in phone systems with excellent phone etiquette is essential.

- Bilingual , English and French is required.

- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering outstanding guest services.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

- Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage but not required; training will be provided.

- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment are crucial for success in this role.
