Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest services at our hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that all guest needs are met efficiently. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position, and the employee is expected to be available 24 hours as required to support hotel operations. The selected candidate must reside on the premises or remain on-site to ensure prompt response to guest and property needs at any time.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Operate multi-line phone systems to answer calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Maintain the front desk area in a neat and organized manner.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including managing reservations and processing payments.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
  • Proficient in using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
