ABOUT THE JOB
We are currently looking for an inside Sales Representative for a mid-sized metal products manufacturing unit in Mississauga. The inside Sales Representative(ISR) role is to enhance the customer experience by providing timely technical information and pricing to the customers.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Form proposals based on customer requested specifications, preparing formal quotations, follow up quotations, monitor project status
- Provide quotes, follow ups and excellent customer service to clients
- Coordinate with the project estimator to obtain cost of materials, outside services, labor, and material (inventoried) costs
- Generate professional presentation of proposal, with clear specifications and relevant technical details
- Maximize the hit ratio of closing orders, assess the impact of pricing, delivery and capabilities
- Provide details to outside Sales Representatives to assist the outside sales process
- Share relevant competitive information to management and or the outside Sales Representatives
- Perform quality after sale service to gather specific order information to provide to Sales Coordinator, confirm delivery dates, and provide scheduling updates as required
- Prospect new and stale accounts
- Update CRM with customer contact and relevant information
OUR OFFER
- Salary: $60,000-$70,000 based on experience
- Benefits after 3 months of service
- 2 weeks paid vacation
- Schedule - Monday to Friday
- Weekly pay every Thursday by direct deposit
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years in a similar Inside Sales role or Project Management expertise
- Exposure to technical products and technical sales
- Ability to perform basic math including calculations of margin
- Strong telephone presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- May require occasional travel to various trade shows
- This is a work from office position
