Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven
Inside Sales Representative
to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with potential and existing customers via phone, email, and other digital channels to generate leads, qualify prospects, and close sales. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify new sales leads through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and other communication platforms
- Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential customers
- Understand customer needs and requirements, presenting appropriate solutions
- Maintain a strong understanding of product/service offerings to effectively communicate value
- Manage and update customer information in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics GP)
- Collaborate with field sales team or account executives to ensure seamless customer experience
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and product presentations when necessary
- Handle objections and negotiate to close sales
- Maintain detailed records of sales activity and customer interactions
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inside sales, or customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with cold calling and lead generation
- Ability to understand and present technical information effectively
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales productivity tools
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Successfully completed a university or college level program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling/customer service in food manufacturing or distribution business
- B2B sales experience 2+ years
- B2B customer service experience 2+ years
Compensation Program:
- Base Salary
- New Customer bonus's range from $1000-$2000 per account
- Annual bonus of 15% of your base salary with sliding scale that allows you to earn up to 40% of your base salary for exceeding your budgeted revenue targets
