Fluid Hose & Couplings Inc. is seeking a full-time Technical Inside Sales Representative. The ideal candidate is action-oriented who can manage multiple customer tasks from technical product selection to order processing and customer follow-up.

Roles and responsibilities Include:

  • Assist customers in product selection and identify potential sales opportunities to evaluate "fit" with our core business.
  • Support key OEM accounts, RFQ process (obtain supplier pricing and technical specifications), order processing & analysis, VMI support.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
  • Provide back-up support to other staff in the performance of job duties as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

  • Solid mechanical aptitude.
  • Fluid Conveyance experience relative to hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies is an asset.
  • Proficient computer skills. Microsoft office Suite, Outlook, and other Cloud based applications.
  • Detailed and action-oriented and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal). International language skills are an asset.

Industry Experience (but not required):

  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • ERP knowledge, Epicor.
  • ISO.
  • S.T.A.M.P.E.D. Industry Standard – Hose Assemblies
