Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/ Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a solid understanding of food and beverage operations, and experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills, engage with diverse guests, and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere. Candidates should be well-versed in POS systems, food safety standards, have their smart serve, and cash handling procedures, ensuring smooth service from order to payment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
  • Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
  • Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and billing
  • Manage cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
  • Ensure responsible serving of alcohol by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
  • Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and serving processes
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a bartender or in a similar food service role is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions gracefully
  • Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and managing tabs
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
  • Hospitality background or restaurant experience is advantageous
  • Must be at least 18 years old (if serving alcohol) and possess relevant certifications if required by local regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
