Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, providing exceptional customer service while creating memorable experiences for our patrons. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Take customer orders accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS, and handle cash transactions efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, making recommendations, and addressing any concerns or requests.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
  • Uphold a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Skills

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable.
  • Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
